An orange Message icon means the Psychic is offline and not available for Live Chat, but you may send the Psychic a direct Message (also called Offline Message) which the Psychic may reply to later. An Offline Message is different than Chat in this way: Chat is a live ongoing conversation with your Psychic in real time, whereas an Offline Message is more like having a conversation by text.
